Mater Dei Ethics
Through the competition of sport, young students develop morally. The lessons learned with involvement in sports provide a basic part of ethics that will be applied in the development of their own moral code in life. When winning is kept in perspective, athletic programs produce young people who enjoy sports, strive for excellence, dare to risk error in the pursuit of knowledge and emotionally grow with praise, positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.

Mater Dei is a member of the Topeka Parochial Leage which consists of the following schools: Mater Dei, Christ the King, Holy Family, Topeka Lutheran, Topeka Collegiate, St. Matthews, and Most Pure Heart of Mary.

Sports offered by the Topeka Parochial Leage are Soccer (co-rec), Volleyball (girls and boys), Basketball (girls and boys), and Track (girls and boys).
